Cowboys’ Maliek Collins breaks foot in offseason conditioning drills

Cowboys defensive tackle Maliek Collins will miss most if not all offseason after suffering a broken foot Thursday during the team’s conditioning drills.

Collins will undergo surgery early next week after breaking the fifth metatarsal in his left foot, according to the Star-Telegram. It marks the second time in five months Collins would have surgery on his left foot as he had surgery in January to fix a stress reaction that bothered him throughout last season, although he was still able to start every game.
